Electric motorcycles available at retail now
Do you guys have any recommendations for other bikes to look at?
Zero you already know about:

Brammo is having a kick-ass sale (all products US $14K or less) now through the end of the month:

BMW makes electric scooters that are sold in Europe but not available in North America:

Other than the two brands above, you'll have trouble finding anything that are in stock at dealerships in the United States and ready to ride home.
Brutus Electric Motorcycles start at US $19.9K:

The Lito Sora *starts* at US $49K:

Mission Motors have recently *changed* their mission and now only make motorcycles as technology demonstrators, not retail products for the masses:

I couldn't wait for the Brutus V9 electric cruiser to come down in price, and I wanted to experience an electric motorcycle with a gearbox, so I ended up getting a Brammo Empulse R. Find a local Zero and Brammo dealership and test ride each one. Don't go in thinking "this is the last bike I'll ever buy, so it had better be the best". Go in thinking "this is a step in the right direction. I can either continue spewing smelly exhaust fumes from my gasoline bike forever waiting for the perfect e-bike, or I can get one now and trade it in for an even better one later."
