As a new owner, it's become clear there is very few parts available to dressup and/or improve the Livewire. My first order or business is to replace the rear fender and eliminate the bike's "spray hole" (for lack of a more descriptive word).
I'm serious in investing in designing and manufacturing a carbon fiber version, but it's too expensive for just one so I'll needs some help. How much interest is there and what kind of price are people willing to pay?

If successful, I'd look into other parts too, such as:
  • front fender
  • air intakes
  • headlight fairing
  • Lower battery covers
  • Integrated saddle bags
First things first though. Who would be interested in a rear fender? It will be a very high quality 4 layer 1.6-1.75mm piece. Pricing would be approximately $600 USD for an uncoated part and $1000 for the UV protected clear coated version.
Shipping will be from Canada.

Keep in mind that Harley replaced the fender both on the LiveWire One and the parts catalogue. I believe it's around $300-400

Additionally, these carbon parts will be vastly superior to those made in China (most aftermarket) which will not go beyond a single layer of carbon backed up with bulk fibreglass. These parts will be made locally with four layers of carbon and at least one woven kevlar layer. They will be very durable.

They'll look trick!

But I've replaced plastic fenders with carbon fiber before. It's mot enough weight savings for the cost.

For real weight savings, one just removes the fender. I ride the LW without it, and other bikes designed without a wheel guard and they are fine in the rain. F one wants to stay dry in rain, rain pants are the answer.

The wheel guard protects touring gear in heavy rain - but noone is going to see it behind saddlebags.

It will have cool factor, but.....

Yes, a long story as you can imagine to create a machining base, to hand craft made the carbon+ epoxy part and a final varnish. Part fixed with a black mastic. I've made 2 or 3 parts but I'm not equiped with waccum syst or other prepeg équipment.
