Charging at home

Is it okay to use the home charger with a 10A socket? I know the manual says 16A, but the charger is labeled 8A, so why should a 10A not work?

Extension cord, why should I not use that? If the wall socket has 16A grounded(240volt), and I use a 3600watt/16A rated
extension cord, I dont see how that is a problem as long as the cord is rolled out. But maybe there is something I am missing?

I have not tried this, but maybe it will be necessary on a trip some day..

I have had success with heavy duty outlets and extension cords. The charger will tell you if it is happy.
