Dear Community!

Great news! #Corbin is now working on some better seats for the #livewire! I can tell you they will have #corrbin's space foam and other high tech materials. Stay tuned! Will take some pics when bike is done!

Does anybody have the Corbin seat? Photos, review? I live near the Corbin shop in Daytona and will check them out in March at Bike Week. Just too pricey to buy one sight unseen.

I've had Corbin seats on 3 of my Harleys so I do like them.

what did this seat set you back ?
it looks like the back part is a little larger and the whole seat looks comfortable

I picked up a Corbin seat myself and put it on yesterday. This is black leather, black sides, and orange logo and stitching. I had to use some nylon spacers for the latch to secure.

How's the new Corbin seat compared with the stock LW saddle?

I installed a new Corbin seat a few days and have put a couple hundred miles on her. Now I was ok with the feel of the factory seat, or I at least adjusted to it. The Corbin is definitely different and maybe a bit more comfortable. It's feeling can vary depending on your seating position. I think I am happier with it....

Installing it was quite frustrating through. The mounting hinge was installed backwards by Corbin and had to be removed and reversed (easy to do, but annoying as hell that it had to be done). Plus the latch hooks had to be extended in order to engaged as well as the rubber bumpers had to be shaved down to get the seat to sit properly.

I think the gold thread goes well with the Fusion Yellow.

Ashveratu, if you have time to take more pics, I'm interested. I have the same color Livewire, and the saddle looks pretty sharp.
Thanks, Brad

As requested. The gold stitching on the seat does not stand out that well in photos. Only on the "Corbin" can you tell it's gold and in my opinion, goes well with the fusion yellow. My next choice would have been the medium silver thread.

@Ashveratu, Thank you!
Liking the look, I have to ask: "I was ok with the feel of the factory seat, or I at least adjusted to it. The Corbin is definitely different and maybe a bit more comfortable. It's feeling can vary depending on your seating position. I think I am happier with it....?" I'm the same on the factory seat. It's not what I'd put on a cruiser, but it's okay for the LW. As for the Corbin seat, it's the cost benefit I'm after? If comfortable, I don't have any plans to get rid of my Livewire. And I would've spent more money on pipes for my 2018 Fat Bob, had I not traded it for the LW. The 2 into 1 custom pipes on the Fat Bob were sooooo loud. It's part of why I went electric, I was tired of all the noise. I'm a sailor, not a race boat guy.
The saddle highly interests me, and I like your color choices a lot!
Nice to see someone else with a red Tesla and a Livewire, impeccable taste!

Given every county's leadership where oil is a natural resource is a pain in the a**, way to go shutting them down!
My home, and therefore LW, run off 100% hydroelectric power. We still have natural gas for heating, but I'm working on resolving that. I understand there are about 6,500 thermonuclear devices about to go in a bankruptcy sale. Maybe we can turn those into mini-powerstations?

You guys are making me jealous! I've been waiting for my black Model Y since Oct. 2021! Someday I will get a picture of my LW1 next to my Y... someday...
DHNielsen, that's exciting! My only hesitation with mine is touching the paint since it's the model released that Harley put its name on. Otherwise, I love a custom paint job, and these Livewires cry out for an artist's touch. I knew a guy in South Carolina who was a master at motorcycle art, many years ago. I've seen some sharp jobs in Florida. Nothing in New England. Just stay open to making your Livewire really pop! It's going to garner attention regardless.
Last thought: If your first electric, work into it. They can grab pavement and launch.

Just swapped back to the stock seat and while I prefer the lines of the stock seat, the Corbin is definitely better quality and feels better. Not just comfort but how I fit on it, much more saddle like. I’m going back to the Corbin.
Is the position further back? Is the seat position higher?

The seat position is just a bit higher, maybe an inch to inch and a half taller. As for further back, not really.

When I sit on the edge between the front and back positions I have much more comfortable let setup. That bump is in my arse but the legs are better. Little concerned pushing my weight back too far or lengthening my arms out too much. Looks like the cover comes off relative easily maybe I will try altering it my self.
