Might not be a professional job, but it's my fab and I think the outcome is AWESOME!

I LOVE how much lower it is. It just looks a LOT better IMO. Process Photos

No wires were touched - so (while not certain) I can't imagine that the only warranty I voided was the waterproof case for the instrument by cutting off the feet.

The case is aluminum, not plastic.

There are no wires or boards in the feet, but it's semi-hollow from the injection mold area.

I've re-sealed it so it's waterproof again.

Setup a hinge so it can be unplugged and the bolts for the clamp reached underneath.

The clamp is also aluminum.

*for anyone that might be curious for what to use to cut.

Dang. That is nice work. If you have any pix from the rider's perspective I'd love to see them.

You and Eric should go into business - "LW Mod. Cent., Purveyors of Finely-Crafted LiveWire Accessories to the Discerning Gentleman."

Thanks!

I'm not a huge fan of helmet mounted stuff, but I'll see what I can rig up for some shots or footage!

*Next mod, finishing my pillion delete!
