He gets off the line so quick. Do you think that is the bike or the rider's reflexes? I think it is more the latter.

It's the bike, reflexes can only do so much for you, you can have amazing reflexes but a bike that can't do what you want it to and fail .

^ exactly. In road racing it would be a different story. There is no tire degredation in motoX. That much torque and the extra weight would roast the tires on a road course far sooner than an ICE bike.

The thing about electricity is there is no shifting and no hunting for the optimal spot in the power band, you're always there, you can just drive out of every corner no matter what the speed...

Good point, electric is consistent and just a matter of stepping on the throttle more, it would definitely help.

well no its not just right wristing more, its that you dont have to worry about clutch and gearing, just modulate through throttle control...

So with cars as well are there no manuals transmissions ever? I figured they were automatic for efficiency's sake not because it just wasn't compatible with a manual transmission.
