Well folks:

I found out that my HD Livewire factory warranty ends soon on 05 May 2023

Since I only have about 300 km on the bike and I only purchased it in the late fall of 2022 I thought it might be best to extend the warranty.

I know the battery is a 5 year warranty but what about the Electronics. I don't care about tires and general mechanical stuff as that is easy to fix. It is the electrical stuff that I am worried about.

Q. Does the 5 year RESS warranty cover the Big RESS battery, the electric motor, AND THE COMPUTER SCREEN SYSTEM

What did you guys decide to do on your warranty.

HD recently amended the warranty here in the states, mainly for right to repair stuff - I’d consult the manual about what is covered under each warranty

I bought a manual recently as mine did not come with one. I have read through it all and I cannot find what is covered under the RESS warranty

They mention it but do not fully state what is covered.

I sent an email to Harley Canada to find out. This way when I get a response it will be in writing. I know that if I was to go to a dealership I would have different answers from each dealership or by each person

I don't think they are familiar with the Livewire bikes here in Canada.

That is why I bought a shop manual and want to know what is covered

I'll post my answer if I ever get one
