Just bought a Livewire

It was just too much fun, so I had to add it to the stable. I think the other bikes are going to gather dust for a while.

One question - at what level are you guys charging? is it better to let it drain low, and then recharge?

Congrats on the new Livewire! Which dealer did you buy from? I charge my bike whenever I put it away for the night or after a long ride. Attached is a record of my charges since new. As you can see I charge at all levels.

How do you access your charging history?

The charging history I posted is my own record. I put the time charging into my notes app on my iPhone. The service dept. at your dealer can look at your charging when you go in for servicing. It's all printed out in the MCR as stated in the video.
thanks - good idea to keep a log. I will do that too. I took it out this morning for some highway testing. A little disappointed in the rapid drop there, as my 27 mile (~55 mi) round trip to work is pretty much all highway and so that will challenge the bike. At work, the L1 charging is pretty much not viable. Of course, I have my other bikes for that and maybe this remains just a round towner.
Any ideas if HD will be able to provide software updates like Tesla does that could lead to improvements?

My longest ride so far has been 130 miles with 11% left on the battery. So I still had at least another 10 miles left. With judicious planning long rides can be done. I recommend the PlugShare app to find charging stations in your area. In Europe someone has done an iron butt ride on the Livewire. I have no idea on OTA updates or seen anything about that.
I just picked up mine last week. Traded my 13 CVO Breakout in and I have to say I love this bike. I am reborn HD hard. If they follow and Tesla model and can hold on they will come out of this huge with electric.

I am the same way, I am looking at HD in a whole new light. I was moving pretty hard to Indian with their willingness to embrace more innovation - and I love my Indian bikes - but HD is definitely raising the bar in my opinion. I just hope that it is not perceived as an either/or with ICE. Co-existence is a good thing and I see smaller, less expensive electric bikes bringing more people into the motorcycle world. Just look at how willing people are to jump on Lime, Bird, etc. in cities and cruise around at dangerous speeds without gear. It is not such a stretch to get on a small electric bike.
