Is the Livewire 12v battery proprietary? The battery looks unique in size. I'm thinking I should get a secondary battery in case this one dies? It may be harder to get the battery in the future.

I currently cannot find any 3rd party manufactures making this type of battery.

Go see your Battery expert dealer, check on the side, there will be another part number but generally, you can search battery sites with the 12V 2Ah 24wh and the size of the battery.
This one would be very close: 12.8V 2Ah Lithium-ion Phosphate Power Sports Starter Battery

Excellent! Thanks for the update. I already took the battery out once and charged it successfully. I know its not going to last forever.
