Due to the weight of the Livewire, I’m looking at getting a center stand. It makes me nervous sometimes to use the kickstand alone as it feels like the bike may tip over. Does anyone know if they make a center stand for the LW?

If the answer to the first question is no, are there better quality kickstands to use with the LW?

I’ve had mine for a year with 18k miles, and the jiffy stand has never been an issue. I get what your saying, as it doesn’t seem robust enough, but it’s designed well. As long as you don’t try to leave it on the stand facing downhill, should be good

Yeah I imagine given the stuff down there it would be a bit of work to have a mount fabricated. It is sketchy but it sort of works. Probably an after market replacement would be better.

There are 6 mounting holes close to the jiffy stand that hold the stock plastic skid in place, could have some thing fabricated, however I don’t feel that would be a good place to mount a center stand, that’s a lot of weight being applied to the cast motor casing.
