LiveWire Daymaker

Just realized that it looks like Harley used one of their Daymaker LED headlamps on the Livewire. I've long been in lust with the daymakers, love the juxtaposition of modern materials with classic casing...

seems like they absolutely had to, no other choice since halogen would draw too much power and still not give out lighting as good as this.
What is the light quality like with this headlight? Daymaker is a pretty big name to live up to.
I'm just curious to see the throw it has, it's something they should display. Now if it can turn while we turn, that would be an added bonus.
It doesn't look exactly the same as the Daymaker IMO. I think that its a different LED head lamp.
i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
I don't see why HD would make everything about the Livewire new except the headlight. I mean, if they actually spent $250k on each bike, why would they choose to cut costs on the headlight.
What do you mean cut corners on the headlight. LED headlights are the most technologicall advanced headlights Harley has. I'm not sure what part of that is a cut corner?
Well, I said cut costs, not cut corners. And what I meant was that they are making brand new parts for the HD Livewire. Why stop at the headlights when everything else on the Livewire is brand new?

How should they cut costs with this headlight?
What parts could they cut costs at?
I'm saying that HD isn't cutting any costs. They went full out on the Livewire, so I am thinking that they would try something new with the headlight instead using something they already have.
I see, what could that new thing be with the headlight?
Seems like there is only so much you can do that is new with a headlight. Different shape or design. I guess other than that you could change the type of lighting but Harley daymaker seems to be top of the line in that sense anyway.
