Meh interesting. Sad he is calling out another owner who posted his mistake and calling him stupid. There are new riders on these bikes because of the tech. This is not great. I do hope you got his permission. He seems like a nice guy just trying to figure things out.

Can't fix stupid, only if you chose to stay ignorant. So many crashes are avoidable with the benefit of proper training.

Strongly recommend everyone take YCRS 2 day school. Will save many future "stupid" and costly riding errors that technology cannot prevent.

And those aren't even the relevant skills. But calling new riders on our bikes stupid is just not great. New is different then stupid.

Also Jack to be quite clear you say some stupid shit in your videos at time. I always gently post to say uh maybe you should consider this other aspect. You want people making videos and using your worst slides to call you stupid? We get he internet we create.

My favorite one. New riders go fast it is safer. Classic Jack.
So you think learning is stupid? New riders don't know what they don't know. I have dropped my bike. Before I was in the habit of keeping my foot on the rear brake at stops. Came to a stop sign on the top of a hill. Needed to pull forward and see. Did so. Looked down. Bike Rolled forward and I grabbed the brake. Was most certainly my error. Basic low speed motorcycle mistake. Luckily I had gotten drop protection. Some of these things take reps. And sometimes you screw up before. My understanding is almost all riders have dropped a bike or two. This is my second bike. Didn't happen on the first. This one is 180LBS heavier. He isn't stupid. He made a mistake. Now Jack isn't calling him stupid he is using a old phrase. But the placement above the video clip which he doesn't even bother to credit is super not cool. Again it is about learning. You have know idea where he is in his riding career. Whether he has taken classes. Whether he has practiced. This stuff happens and as Jack points out in other video this bike has some good features for noobies. You got to change the ride mode for sure. But once you do it is a pretty good mid weight bike. Pricey to learn on but still.

Saying the opposite. Get training. Only willful ignorance is stupid.

You assume lack of training though? I meant the beginning of the process. I mean there are always derogatory names for new people. Kooks in surfing etc etc. It isn't a big deal it just felt odd to me in this instance. Maybe my own embarrassment about my drop?
