Man who is designing this stuff?

Is it me? I mean I have limited fashion sense but who is signing off on this stuff? I thought the CEO had some style? WTF.

It's not for 'traditional cyclists'... clearly aimed at millennials and eco-couture folks. I consider my own style to be somewhere between Dr. Woo/SMCO and Biker Boyz but toned down with 50yr old sensibilities. Bright/loud colors don't appeal to me.

Is that a thing? Huh. I don't think these bikes are designed for those folks. That stuff looks perfect for the sondors crowd.

I agree they seem pretty amateurish compared to the quality and style of the bike. HD had a couple shirts I thought weren't too bad but logo'd for the ELW more than the LW1. The accessory availability is just as lackluster as the apparel. It's surprising really for a company that seems to cash in on the accessory market on their other bikes to such a great extent. The "lightning" shirt is still available but the black "LiveWire" shirt was discontinued.

What I’ve noticed is more of a ‘DIY customization’ push- the E-Mulholland, Silent Dancer, Silent Alarm and Moto Adonis bikes have all been one-offs but never produced retail kits/parts for us owners to grab.
Their apparel is a weird mixture between trying to be artsy and super corporate. For example, who are they trying to appeal to with this NYSE tee? People care about the ride, the culture, the community, the history, etc. They don't care if you're publicly listed! Imagine: "Hey man, check out my Honda. Did you know Honda trades on the NYSE under HMC? First listed in 1977. Rad, right?"

Right some sort of startup vibe thing? I guess Cali must have infected LW. But still. It doesn't even look good.

Given that Zietz made his fortune with Puma... a fashion leader... marketing branded apparel... and given his own statements that the future of HD is electric... he never put one and one together. Considering the retail space allocated to clothing in each HD dealership, what is it with that guy that he's not using his own idea to help market the LW and provide another over-priced revenue stream that his cash pigs are willing to support for The Motor Company?

I think Zeitz is just woke with his own agenda and doesn't really give a crap about $200 million in losses per year on the LW venture, and doesn't give a crap that selling 21 LW units a month is a terrible indictment of his leadership with huge magnification of the disconnect between E-MCs as Harley's future, the unthinkable investment approaching $1 billion dollars in costs and losses, and unit sales of 21 a month totaling about $500k in sales monthly. There is no way an ancient company like Harley will tolerate this sort of disconnect much longer. The immediate success of the Del Mar or lack thereof will kill EVs in Harley immediately or not.

Already Harley missed their release date and are totally tone deaf and brain dead requiring a 70 minute L2 recharge in a day where tesla is unveiling 1 mW charging... Frankly, Zeitz is an idiot and needs to be fired immediately. This is not to mention, which I will mention, the lack of a junior Pan America, the lack of a Bronx and the lack of a $5k Chinese made XR replica option for the US market...

OTOH - one could argue (I'm not, but one could) this makes our bikes eminently collectible :)
