OBC Software Update for increased DC Charger Compatibility

Livewire recently issued a software update for the LW1 OBC, to improve Level 3 (DC Fast Charger) compatibility with a wider range of charging networks. It should help with compatibility problems that some riders have seen while trying to Level 3 charge. I do not know exactly which networks they fixed - but the update should improve fast charging options. It will take a service appt with a dealer to have the update installed.

I don't know if a corresponding OBC software update for ELW has been issued.

God I hope. I have a polar smart training watch. And it gets line by line directions from google maps over bluetooth. Screw that LW map program. I will book my appointment now.

Scheduled. Great find. Glad Livewire told me about it. Ha. Anyone got a link to what it includes? I sadly tried searching for it. See this is what Livewire needs. Be more open and communicative. These bike are way more dependent on software. But I know it isn't possible.

Sitting at the stealership waiting for the firmware update. Foolishly asked them to check the belt tension as well.

Works at two of the places it didn't at all. Will update charger thread. Great job Livewire. These two with the arched tops now work great. Though classically of the 4ccs chargers 2 where broken and the cc was broken on the one I had to use. Thankful the shell/greenlots credit I had worked. Wasn't sure I would ever get that $10 back. Rates suck. $5 plus .19 per kwh. Clearly designed around car with big batteries and fast charging rates.

Yeah I worry about how hard people have recommend the HD branded bikes. These things are so software dependent. I would never by an electronic device with this much software that risked being out side of support updates.
