On my second day of owning my 2020 ELW, I had a similar situation. 6 months and 2k miles later, no issues. I have seen the shutting down warning pop up a couple times while riding, but it cleared on it's own quickly and I just kept riding. No problems were noted during my first 1k mile maintenance.

As for downloading fault codes or history from bike....no clue, though there must be a way I'd imagine.

Almost the exact same thing for me. I just passed 17k miles, and it's only happened maybe five times.
