I spoke to my dealer’s P&A specialist about this, bar-end mirrors, etc. it all has to do with their drive-by-wire configuration, instead of old-fashioned throttle cables, as well as all the switches wired through the handlebar. What I did was to wrap my stock grips with leather tennis racquet grip material. I’ll post some pix when I get a chance to take them.

I did that exact same thing!

tcypher that bike looks so cool that way. Love the hidden blinkers etc. How are you like that riding position?

it's really working out better than I'd expected.
I'm 5'9" and I'm not too crunched up, 'specially on long rides... that's where I initially expected for it to be uncomfortable.
My arse hurts before my knees or other joints do.
