If I understand that Rivian video, he was not using a Supercharger, but rather, one of the new billable Tesla Level 2 chargers, at a Tesla station that also has Superchargers.

I've used the Tesla tap to charge my Livewire, and I have the Tesla app configured with my account info - but I have not yet stopped at one of the billable Tesla Level 2 chargers.

Using Tesla L2, I get exactly the same charging speed as with the LW1 L1 charger.

The Rivian youtube video I saw, talked about using a billable Tesla L2, located at a Tesla charging station that also had Superchargers.

You sure? His charging speeds were quite high? I mean this must be about dc otherwise why the full ccs connector?
I am sure. I've data logged multiple L1, L2, and Tesla L2 charging sessions. Same charge rate on all.

Maybe you saw something different than me. But the Rivian video I saw was about using a billable Tesla L2, that happened to be at a station that also had superchargers.

I think I found your video about charging non-Tesla on a Supercharger. This video talks about select U.S. sites being opened up.

Looking at my Tesla app, it looks like their are several public Tesla supercharger locations now open in upstate NY. And also some spots in San Francisco.

It looks like the non-Tesla adapter is available at the charger, for sites where Tesla has opened to non-Tesla vehicles.

It works just fine here in Norway at least! I have fast charged my Live Wire several times last year at Tesla Superchargers and it worked very well. The good thing is also that the Tesla superchargers are more friendly priced than the alternatives.
I don't think they are the same devices. They don't require adapters right? Don't tesla's use the ccs system there?

Yes, you’re right about that. All the Tesla chargers have ccs equipped here. Either in combination with type 2 plugs or the newest ones with ccs only. So I can plug my bike directly into a ccs charger.
