Thoughts on this BS? Display rebooting.

So this will happen at startup and sometimes while riding. I don't lose power or mode selection but I do lose cruise control. I have an appt in a month. But you know they are just gonna want to throw wiring harness or screens at it and the time to get one of those could be my whole summer.

So is it safe to ride? I don't know if abs and tc are still fine my guess is yes.

Any thoughts would help. I have tried to get the cable to sit better but it isn't helping.
