Anyone using the QL mount with an iPhone MagSafe compatible one? How has that been working out? Does it still charge ok on the normal Apple charger?

On the Livewire are you mounting to the mirror mount or the handlebar, or some other place? I want to get something and debating between the QL and going another Ram mount like I've done in the past.

I'll use it with an iPhone mostly. I know they tend to charge a little slower than my Samsung. All I need is basically for it to maintain the charge when I ride or slowly charge. I didn't need any really fast charging as my phone will normally be 70-80% when I go ride.

Looks cool. Don't forget quadlock has an adapter so you can adjust the angle. It is their little knuckle adaptor. I've used on some of my other motorcycles to help with the viewing angle.

I bought the QL case for my iPhone 14 and it works well in general. I don't find their wireless charging mount to be worth the hassle with an iPhone due to the slower charging rate. I just plug it in directly to the phone. A little less convenient but better charging capability.

While I like the case when used with the bike, I usually take it off and use a different case when not riding the bike. It is slicker than I'd like and the wireless charging throughput is worse than another MagSafe wireless charging case I use by a noticeable amount. It is sort of a pain to change all the time but the QL case is just slick enough that I've dropped it a few times. It also seems bulkier than their same case I have for an iPhone 12. I am almost tempted to just get their generic mount to attach to another case and use it on my other case but then I'd lose the wireless charging aspect of that case.

I like the case enough on my iPhone 12 to buy for the 14 but I almost regret buying it for the 14. I may put some sort of anti-skid tape on the phone case or maybe rough it up with some 40 grit sand paper. From a protection standpoint it seems very good but the slick sides are a big negative for me.

FYI - they go into a lot of detail about wireless charging speeds with their cases. I do regret buying their wireless charging adaptor to use with my iPhones. With my Android it seemed to work better.
