So I have been really intrigued by what Triumph has done with its "Chrome Line" editions of their Bonneville and Rocket line of bikes. Rather than shoveling out almost $18,000 for a new chrome Thruxton RS, I decided to go the less expensive route and Wrap my ELW in a similar manner. I decided to go with a matte chrome wrap on the sides of the tank and the headlamp cowl. On the cowl and tank's center panel, I decided to go with a dark, brushed stainless steel look. I am really happy with the way it turned out! Thank you to 5am Vinyl in Suwanee, Ga for the great service and outstanding work.

Thank you! I didn't want to go overboard on the chrome. I wanted to keep it relatively simple or dare I say, elegant.

Looks great! Have you considered doing the rest of the plastics on the side of the bike, the air scoops?

I was considering it but I really wanted to emulate the triumph chrome edition thruxton. That of which only has the tank chrome. The fenders and side covers are painted black.

Love this! I have done a "scratched" silver (like stainless), but would have loved to do a chrome.
