I'm going to be honest. I ride with 100% regen, and the brakes could be made of cardboard and be sufficient in 90% of situations. The livewire outperforms in breaking to all the other bikes I own and regularly ride other than the BMWs.

Good point. Heard that same thing from several video reviewers as well.

Loading the front fork and compressing the front tire to get max available traction, and trailing off pressure to the apex is what I have in mind. Trail braking is a must for my style of riding.

Your approach certainly can work, but it has limits in certain situations.

FWIW, trail braking is for any rider, any bike, any road. If you are riding for peak performance. Cruising around, not as critical.

I mean the brakes are pretty good. I have never found them lacking. I wonder if it is related to how the abs is implemented?
