I'm going to be honest. I ride with 100% regen, and the brakes could be made of cardboard and be sufficient in 90% of situations. The livewire outperforms in breaking to all the other bikes I own and regularly ride other than the BMWs.
Good point. Heard that same thing from several video reviewers as well.
Loading the front fork and compressing the front tire to get max available traction, and trailing off pressure to the apex is what I have in mind. Trail braking is a must for my style of riding.
Your approach certainly can work, but it has limits in certain situations.
Trail braking, corner speed, and corner exit involve getting the motorcycle to be at its maximum efficiency and most balanced when tipping into a corner,...
What are floating rotors, and why are they better than solid rotors? We explain the differences between the two common styles of motorcycle disc brakes.
Well unless you go to a track I seriously doubt you'll ever feel the difference to floating, except when you have to replace them, costs x2. Floats are great for getting rid of lots of heat without heating the calipers/fluid. I find the brakes to be just fine for max hooning. I use the brakes a lot in the twisties, seems a quality piece of kit for a std bike.
