I missed that. Where is what you did regarding seat customization?
Well not done yet but have an appointment with someone. $600 for vinyl rebuild and reshape on the stock base. Ride in appointment in October. Thinking taller a bit wider and better foam. Maybe more grippy on the front tank piece as well.

Did you think about the Corbin at all? It looks nice on the bike but not sure if it retains the area for the charger.

I have a Corbin on another bike that is going on close to 40k miles and 9 years and is still one of the comfiest seats I've ever had on a bike.

So he took an hour an half on the Giles pegs. Felt they weren't horizontal enough so fabricated a stainless steel shim and drilled a hole so the spring retains it. Will take photos and post once I collect it. Dude only takes cash or check. Love it.

Hmm I am not sure I can keep him working on the bike but he did love the test ride. Love the thoroughness. They weren't flat enough so he added that ~1mm shim. He was like on less fancy peg I would have just welded it to the peg. Then rather the glue or just grease to hold it in he punches the shim so it fits just right. Worth the $165 and not crawling around and drilling myself.

Only down side I was moving the bike around in garage in shorts and gave myself a nice cheese grating. Seems proper.

I have to say if you right hard these are so good. I can't even imaging going back to the stock. They are just so much better all around. Even for highway. But in the twisties the ablity o turn your foot out and still have a clean surface to press on with the inner leg. So good. $250 ain't cheap but it is a no hesitation recommend from me. Let me know if you want pictures of the work the mechanic did to do the install.

I put Giles footrests on mine (UF-23-KIT).

I used the same mounting joint as for a BMW S1000RR. The Livewire footrest spring has a different end than the BMW, so I drilled the mounting joint to accept the Livewire spring, and....
