I’m on my 8th Harley now with the livewire ( along with a sprinkling of Japanese and Italian bikes!), and I have to say that I love my new live wire, it won’t replace my cafe racer but it is so much fun and so easy to use I am very happy with it. Only issue is that it rains a lot in the UK!! .... ALOT. In a year or two I’m sure there will be a tail tidy solution like i had on my Ducati Diavel, but the live wire rear end is growing on me because the bike is so futuristic in design technology, but the stupid hole I; the rear hugger just men’s I get filthy, my neck eventu get wet and cold and all the rad crud gets into the rear seat hinge or the electric cable storage area under the seat, which is dumb. Has anyone sourced and off the shelf blank that fits over the ref hugger hole? Thanks all In advance!

No, I have not relocated them yet.
I'm trying to keep as many electronics as stock as possible. (e.g. my stock front signal relocation)
That said, I'm still thinking on where/how to use the ORG setup for those things.
Additionally, since I also have a chopped seat (solo), I want those items to be attached independent of the seat arms, so I can swap out the solo seat with the stock (long one) if so desired.
I'm in the same boat. It's been tough even considering a modification on the chance these are worth something some day. But maybe the only party who'd want it will be Smithsonian? It would make a nice addition to their collection as the world moves towards EV's. Meanwhile, I need to ride it more.

OK, so I finally dug the ELW out of the mothballs and mounted the new rear fender. Now I just have to wash the little bugger! I've included a pic of Harley's markings on the underside of the fender showing the part number, date of manufacture, and even the kind of plastic it's made of -- not that it's helpful, #7 is "OTHER".

Easy-peasy! 4 torx bolts out, old fender off, new fender on, 4 torx bolts back in, done! It took me longer to type this response than to swap it out; it’s that simple!
